Your First Visit to Addante Chiropractic

Your first visit to Addante Chiropractic includes a consultation, thorough examination, and treatment. By taking the time to understand exactly what is creating your current condition your doctor can formulate a personalized treatment plan to specifically address the cause of your pain. At Addante Chiropractic every patient is treated as an individual. There is no generic treatment approach here! Paperwork has to be completed too, in accordance with federal law. We are happback painy to email or mail you the paperwork ahead of time so that you can fill it out leisurely.

During the consultation your doctor will ask you questions concerning your current condition and past health history. This will help the doctor to better understand the evolution of your current condition, your current health status, and all of the contributing factors.

The examination portion of your first visit variously consists of orthopedic, neurological, muscular, postural, and chiropractic examinations. Your doctor will take the time to search out the cause of your condition and understand exactly what’s wrong.

According to the findings uncovered during your consultation and examination, your doctor will design an individual treatment plan just for you. The treatment plan might include: specific chiropractic manipulation, adjunct physiological therapeutics, heat or ice, home care instructions or exercises, rehabilitation, massage, nutritional and homeopathic remedies, and more. Your doctor will tell you the provisional diagnosis, the active treatments that will be used, and approximate length of treatment. If there is a clinical need for x-rays, they will be taken on the first or second visit. At Addante Chiropractic we follow the x-ray guidelines formulated by the American College of Chiropractic Radiologists to determine the clinical need for an x-ray, so you never need to worry about unnecessary exposure to x-rays.

Your doctor will then treat you according to the treatment plan. Our goal is to get you feeling better as quickly as possible!

As your treatment goes on, regular re-evaluations will help your doctor to gauge your progress and response to treatment. Your doctor will modify the treatment plan as necessary in order to provide you with the most effective health care available for your condition. Your care at Addante Chiropractic is always personalized and centered around you!
