Insurance at Addante Chiropractic

Drs. Mark and Julie Addante are both credentialed Medicare and Worker's Compensation providers. Additionally, Dr. Mark participates in select PPO insurance plans.

Insurance:
Dr Mark Addante participates with the following health plans:
   • Blue Cross/Blue Shield
   • Rocky Mountain Health Plans
   • Cigna
   • PHCS
   • First Health
   • Triad/Multiplan

Medicare:
Both Dr. Mark and Dr. Julie are credentialed Medicare providers, however, our office is a non-participating Medicare office. Your Medicare benefits still apply, though.

As a non-participating Medicare office we do not accept payment directly from Medicare. Instead, the patient pays all applicable charges at the time of service. Our office will prepare and send a bill to Medicare, and Medicare will reimburse the patient directly for all covered charges. Medicare will send any unpaid or non-covered charges to the patient's secondary insurance company (if any), and those charges will be reimbursed according to the terms of that policy. Currently, spinal manipulation is the only covered chiropractic Medicare benefit. Medicare reimburses that service at 80% of the Medicare allowed rate.

Worker's Compensation:
Both Dr. Mark and Dr. Julie are credentialed by the State of Colorado as Level 1 Worker's Compensation providers. Our office works closely with employers, injured employees, and the Worker's Compensation department to coordinate services and benefits for employees injured on the job.
